At the first meeting of the World Council in Washington, chaired by Donald Trump, an agreement was reached that the army of Kazakhstan would support peace in the Gaza Strip, as reported by DW.

During the meeting, Trump announced that five countries, including Kazakhstan, agreed to send troops to the region: Morocco, Albania, Kosovo, and Indonesia.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who also attended the meeting, confirmed the country's readiness to send military units, including a medical contingent, as well as observers for the peacekeeping mission. He added that Kazakhstan would provide funding, food, and humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip, as well as participate in the reconstruction of destroyed facilities.

Trump stated that the countries in the World Council agreed to allocate $7 billion for the Gaza Strip. This includes Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Kuwait. The U.S. will add another $10 billion to this amount, and the UN will contribute $2 billion. Additionally, the International Federation of Football (FIFA) will allocate $75 million for the development of football projects in this region.

The peacekeeping forces will be responsible for maintaining order in Gaza, monitoring the ceasefire, and facilitating the establishment of stable peace. Indonesia reported its readiness to send between 5,000 to 8,000 of its military personnel. However, it is still unclear how many soldiers will be sent by other countries. It is worth noting that many European countries, such as France and Germany, have refused to participate in the activities of the World Council.
