During their visit to the medical facility, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, and the minister of education, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, met with Bolatkhan Karibzhanov, a teacher at school No. 83, who was injured in an attack by his student. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.
During the visit, they discussed the current state of the teacher's health and expressed their support, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Additionally, the mayor and the minister agreed to hold an extended meeting with parents, aimed at reducing aggressive behavior among students and preventing similar incidents in the future.
It was also decided to strengthen security measures and expand the video surveillance system in educational institutions.
Aibek Junushaliev mentioned that in 2025, the mayor's office allocated 160 million soms for the modernization and installation of video surveillance systems in the capital's schools.
It should be noted that the teacher had previously reported being assaulted by a student.
