As reported by the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, the company responsible for the structure was given time to dismantle it on their own, but no actions were taken on their part.
The head of the capital emphasized: "If the company does not remove the dismantled elements by the end of today, they will be sent to the impound lot of the Land Use Control Department."
In addition, the mayor instructed the Bishkek Main Department of Architecture and Urban Planning to develop a new design for the fountain structure, setting the task of presenting a sketch for the renovation of the object as soon as possible.
The demolition is being carried out by employees of the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" in cooperation with the Land Use Control Department. City service leaders have been instructed to ensure the safety of workers during these activities.
It is worth reminding that on February 19, 2026, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev conducted an inspection of construction work on Chuy Avenue and warned that if the demolition did not begin within three days, city services would be involved in the work.
