A conflict has erupted in Bishkek related to violations at a construction site owned by a foreign company. The head of the city inspection, Mirlan Taalaibekov, expressed dissatisfaction with the condition of one of the key streets, where developers have installed barriers directly on the sidewalks, significantly hindering pedestrian movement and obstructing the visibility of traffic lights.

During an on-site inspection, numerous violations were identified: illegally installed fences, blocked pedestrian pathways, lack of safe alternative routes, and non-compliance with urban infrastructure standards.

Additionally, the inspection noted the lack of informational signs in the Kyrgyz language, which violates legislation on the state language.

At a meeting with representatives of the developers, which took place in a tense atmosphere, the municipality demanded the immediate removal of all illegal barriers and compliance with safety requirements and legislation.

The inspection warned that administrative measures would be taken in case of non-compliance with the demands.
