Today, at the meeting of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, a decision was made to appoint new deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh. Rayimberdi Duishenbiev received a vacant mandate from the multi-mandate electoral district No. 14, while Jaiylobai Nyshanov was appointed from district No. 15.
Rayimberdi Duishenbiev will take the place of Kunduzbek Suimanov in district No. 14, while Jaiylobai Nyshanov will replace Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu in district No. 15. Both newly elected deputies received their certificates and badges.
Previously, Rayimberdi Duishenbiev held the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It should be noted that Kunduzbek Suimanov and former speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu had previously resigned from their positions early. Alisher Erbaev, next on the list after Turgunbek uulu, was appointed head of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the GKNB, which led to the transfer of the mandate to Jaiylobai Nyshanov. In the elections, he gathered 5,865 votes, which accounted for 8.69 percent of the total number of voters.
