
The current electricity tariff is 1 som 37 tyiyns
From May 1, the electricity tariff will increase by 27 tyiyns, bringing it to a new value of 1 som 64 tyiyns. This was announced by the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev at a meeting of the committee dealing with issues of industrial policy, transport, the fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction.
According to the minister, the tariff was set at 1 som 37 tyiyns in 2025, and starting from May 1, it will rise to 1 som 64 tyiyns. This means an increase of 27 tyiyns. In the future, by 2030, for citizens consuming up to 700 kilowatt-hours, the price will be 3 som 40 tyiyns,” he added.
The minister also noted that from May 1, a night tariff will be introduced, which will be 1.7 percent lower than the standard rate.
