The premiere of the film Beyond the Silk Road about Kyrgyzstan took place in London.

In London, at the VUE Cinema Leicester Square, the world premiere of the documentary project "Dominic West: Kyrgyzstan" (Beyond the Silk Road) took place. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy.



According to information from the ministry, during the event, the film was presented by actors Alexandra Tolstaya, Clarke Peters, and Dominic West.

Deputy Minister Timurlan Azhymaliev emphasized that the project is unique and makes a significant contribution to the development of cultural dialogue between countries, as well as promoting Kyrgyzstan as a state with a rich historical heritage and distinctive culture.

The series "Dominic West: Kyrgyzstan" tells the story of the British actor's journey along the routes of the Great Silk Road. The project is directed by Laura Jones, known for her work in documentary filmmaking and international television projects.

This series presents Kyrgyzstan from a new perspective, introducing viewers to its culture, natural beauty, history, and contemporary life. It showcases the traditional nomadic lifestyle, national games (ulak tartysh, kyzy kuumai), the art of berkutchi, folk crafts, as well as the musical and oral heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
