On Too-Ashuu, forced snow avalanche descents are being conducted

At the Too-Ashuu pass, in the area of the 132nd, 133rd, and 136th kilometers, work is currently underway for the controlled release of snow avalanches. The press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications reported that for these purposes, special equipment from the road maintenance enterprise (DMP) No. 9 is being used on-site, and staff are in a state of full readiness to respond quickly to changes in the situation.

Since 9:00 AM, a temporary restriction on the movement of trucks has been introduced on the Bishkek — Osh highway (starting from the "Sosnovka" post) due to the avalanche release operations.

On other routes in the republic, traffic is proceeding without delays, and the roads remain open.

Currently, road services are operating around the clock, clearing the roads of snow and also applying a sand-salt mixture to ensure road safety.
