Last year, 856 million soms were allocated for the publication of textbooks

According to information presented at the republican meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov reported that in 2025, 856 million soms have been allocated for the publication of textbooks.

In comparison, in 2021, this amount was only 63.5 million soms, which allowed for the release of 329,000 textbooks.

Baisalov also noted that there are 2,394 schools operating in Kyrgyzstan, where 1.5 million children are studying.

“Last year, we opened 76 new educational institutions, and 41 schools underwent major renovations. These changes have created 17,000 additional places for students. All educational institutions are connected to the internet,” he added.
