
This meeting took place at the official invitation of the company and its investor, the Chinese Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Corporation, to familiarize themselves with the implementation of the project for the overhaul and improvement of the existing plant.
The modernization project of the plant, which has a processing capacity of 800,000 tons of oil per year, is one of the most significant investment projects in the Kyrgyz Republic. It is being implemented based on an investment agreement signed between the National Investment Agency and the Central Asian Energy Company. Additionally, a supplementary agreement was signed, which increases the investment volume to $193.75 million and anticipates the completion of work by the end of July this year.
During the visit, representatives of the authorities were able to familiarize themselves with the current work and assess the readiness of the production facilities.
Meeting participants noted the importance of this project for the development of the region's industry, increasing the depth of oil processing, creating new jobs, and strengthening the country's energy security.
