The debates in parliament concern issues with the export of the light industry
At a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to finance and entrepreneurship development, Deputy Jumabek Salymbekov raised the issue of fulfilling the president's order regarding support for the light industry within the framework of the Customs Union.
The Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service, Elnura Mambetjunusheva, reported that in accordance with the directive of the head of state, an algorithm for interaction with the Federal Customs Service of Russia has been developed. She noted that the parties have agreed on officers for communication and organized the exchange of information about cargoes at the border. The document concerning this cooperation is in the final stages of preparation and will soon be signed.
Furthermore, Mambetjunusheva clarified that the Russian side has committed to providing complete information about the reasons for delays and any violations.
In response to a question about the current situation at the Kazakh-Russian border, she reported that at the moment six vehicles are undergoing inspection and are detained for verification. It is assumed that the problems are related to product labeling and doubts that have arisen regarding its origin.
Salymbekov, in turn, expressed dissatisfaction with the response received. According to him, the situation with traffic jams at the border remains critical, and no vehicle with Kyrgyz goods can cross the border. The deputy emphasized the need for strict enforcement of the presidential order, stressing that prolonged inspections lead to losses, bankruptcies, and the closure of light industry enterprises.
