She explained that this process is carried out once every ten years and covers the entire country. It is worth noting that the previous census had not been conducted for 22 years.
The data collection will allow for a detailed assessment of key aspects such as:
- the number and structure of agricultural enterprises and farms of various forms of ownership;
- the diversity and volumes of agricultural production;
- the availability of land, labor, and material resources;
- the livestock and poultry population;
- the characteristics of farm management and the level of mechanization.
“This data will help create a complete picture of the development of the country's agricultural sector. Objective information is important for shaping agricultural policy and forecasting investments in this area. Unlike previous censuses, we are fully transitioning to an electronic format, which will ensure the protection of information on the central server of the National Statistical Committee and guarantee the confidentiality of the data,” said Elmira Alymkulova.
According to Alymkulova, 6,791 temporary employees will be involved in conducting the census, including enumerators, registrars, instructors, controllers, and coordinators, who will receive compensation set by the government.
