Citizens who returned from Jeddah shared their experiences
Recently, a flight from Jeddah landed at Manas International Airport, bringing home 90 citizens of Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, about 120 compatriots arrived in Osh.
According to those who arrived in Bishkek, their stay in Saudi Arabia coincided with the beginning of military actions between Iran, Israel, and the USA.
Ramis, one of the passengers, said: "Although we were not allowed to return home, thanks to the support of the president, the muftiate, and the embassy, we were able to come back. We planned to fly out on the night of February 28, and the accommodation in the hotel was organized by a company that handles Umrah."
Torokeldi Ashymov added that all organizational issues were resolved at a high level.
"The company was organized, in my opinion, with the support of the state, and a plane was allocated for us. Kyrgyz citizens were doing well there, the mood was excellent. We did not hear any explosions; we were in Mecca, where it was calm. We were already preparing to fly out, but on that day all flights were canceled. As a result, we returned after three days," he said.
Zuura Apa, one of the female passengers, noted that she felt calm during this period. "All the staff from the Umrah organization were with us. But we understood that everything was in the hands of Allah, so I was calm. Some even said that this was an opportunity to stay a few more days in the holy places and enjoy it," she added.
We remind you that special flights between Jeddah and Bishkek, as well as Jeddah and Osh, were organized by the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to return citizens to their homeland.
