This is the second instance of conflict between deputies this week
During the session of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputies Mederbek Aliyev and Ulukbek Karybek uulu engaged in a heated exchange.
Aliyev, thanking his colleagues for their support after being appointed as vice-speaker, noted that patience and experience in public service are necessary for this position, rather than "running around maternity hospitals," which was perceived as a hint at Karybek uulu.
Karybek uulu responded, emphasizing that some people consider themselves "the smartest and most educated," while others are categorized as "fools."
"Some believe they are the smartest and most educated, while the rest are fools," he stated.
The deputy added that society is well aware of who contributes to the country's development and noted that during his visits to maternity hospitals, he was engaged in fighting corruption.
After this incident, the speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh reminded deputies of the importance of adhering to parliamentary ethics.
It is worth noting that recently there was also a conflict among deputies at a committee meeting regarding a bill proposed by Aliyev.
