On March 6, an exhibition titled "Urkuya Salieva — a Symbol of Courage and Freedom" opened at the Memorial House-Museum named after Mikhail Frunze. The exhibition is dedicated to the life and heroism of Urkuya Salieva — one of the outstanding representatives of the era of social transformations in Kyrgyzstan.

Within the framework of the exhibition, visitors can see materials that tell about her biography and social activities, as well as about the significant historical period of the 1920s and 1930s. Archival photographs, documents, and the feature film "Worshiping the Fire" help to create an image of a woman who fought for the renewal of society and equality for women.

The exhibition aims to preserve historical memory and deepen the understanding of the role of women in the development of Kyrgyz society.

This exhibition will be available to visitors until March 20. We invite everyone interested to visit the museum and learn about the important pages of our country's history.
