In Russia, more than 268 thousand Kyrgyz citizens are registered for migration

In Novosibirsk, there are 17,791 Kyrgyz citizens, of which 4,624 are included in the register of controlled foreign nationals.



According to information presented at a meeting of the committee on international affairs, defense, security, and migration of the Jogorku Kenesh, there are 268,460 citizens of Kyrgyzstan registered for migration in Russia. The Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk, Aibek Aydarbekov, reported this at the meeting.


In particular, 17,791 Kyrgyz citizens are registered in Novosibirsk, and 4,624 of them are included in the register of controlled foreign nationals.


The Consul General also spoke about the work aimed at providing consular and legal services to citizens, cooperation with the Kyrgyz diaspora, and measures to strengthen bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.


During the discussion, Deputy Cholpon Esenamanova raised issues regarding the export of Kyrgyz products and their representation in the agro-complex "Asia-Siberia." Additionally, she inquired about the reasons for the decrease in the number of students receiving education on a budget basis in Russian universities.


Deputy Zhyldyz Sadyrbaeva emphasized the importance of medical care for the families of labor migrants, highlighting that within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, they should receive guarantees that, unfortunately, are not always fulfilled.


Deputy Burul Amanova also suggested intensifying efforts to promote the goods of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs in Russian markets.


Deputy Shairbek Tashiev proposed creating a 24-hour hotline to provide legal assistance to citizens.
