
The Ministry of Labor, Social Development, and Migration of Kyrgyzstan has announced the launch of a new social project—a 24/7 hotline 5200 as part of the state social order.
According to reports, this hotline has been established to provide quick and quality assistance to victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
Anyone who calls the number 5200 will be able to receive free, anonymous, and confidential support. The hotline is staffed by qualified psychologists and consultants who have undergone special training on issues of violence, crisis situations, and psychological assistance.
The hotline is available 24/7, without days off, and operates throughout the country via all mobile operators.
The main areas of its work include:
- psychological support for victims of violence and exploitation;
- information about available services and measures to protect the rights of victims;
- consultations on issues of safe shelter, medical, and legal assistance;
- support for relatives and witnesses of violence.
