At a press conference at the "Kabar" agency, the Chairman of the Legal Aid Service under the Ministry of Justice, Akzhol Kalbekov, reported on the ongoing relevance of issues related to domestic violence in Kyrgyzstan.
According to Kalbekov, the increase in citizen inquiries is attributed to growing trust in the legal aid system provided by the state.
“Issues of violence remain on the agenda. During the ten-day campaign for free legal aid, 80% of all requests were related to family law issues,” he emphasized.
Citizens can receive consultations on matters related to domestic violence by calling the hotline at 114 or visiting the official website of the Legal Aid Service, where comprehensive information and resources to support victims are available.
