According to the developers, this technological initiative is aimed at enhancing the safety and independence of women who face harassment, violence, or inappropriate behavior, especially in public transport.
“This application provides users with effective tools for obtaining help, including the ability to determine their location in an emergency, activate a sound alarm, make calls, or send pre-prepared messages to their trusted contacts. Additionally, the app allows users to record audio (for use as evidence) or simulate incoming calls (to divert attention). We are confident that this solution will become an important resource for women facing aggression and will help them feel more protected and calm in critical situations,” the developers added.
