In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a man suspected of a series of fraudulent activities related to promises of assistance in obtaining driver's licenses has been detained, reports the city's Main Department of Internal Affairs.
A citizen named O.U. filed a complaint with the police. He reported that on December 11, 2025, in the Kök-Jar area, an unfamiliar person approached him, introducing himself as A.K., who, having gained his trust, promised to help him obtain a driver's license. As a result, he deceived him and took 120,000 soms.
At the moment, the suspect has not returned the money and has not fulfilled his promises.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of operational measures, B.M., born in 1998, was detained. He was taken to the investigative department and placed in custody.
Investigative actions confirmed that B.M. is related to at least six other cases of fraud.
