Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastan Bekeshev announced his initiative regarding the development of esports in Kyrgyzstan through his Telegram channel.
He emphasized the importance of creating systematic support for computer sports and proposed amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Physical Culture and Sports" to ensure legislative regulation in this area.
Within the framework of the proposed bill, special attention is given to issues related to the participation of minors in esports activities. This will help prevent the negative consequences of excessive gaming.
It is worth noting that esports is becoming increasingly popular among the youth of the country. In the future, there is a possibility of creating a regional center for players, which could make Kyrgyzstan an important player in the esports arena of Central Asia.
