“As parents of students from school No. 51 and simply residents of the area, we are extremely concerned about safety. On this stretch of road, vehicles often exceed the speed limit, making it unsafe for pedestrians, especially children, as school No. 51 and other educational institutions are nearby. We have already reached out to the Bishkek city administration, but we were only offered to limit ourselves to road markings. This solution does not satisfy us, as markings do not save lives, and many drivers simply ignore them,” they state.
