Since March 10, 2026, the municipal enterprise "Tazalyk" has been actively engaged in snow removal and the application of technical salt on the roads, as reported by the press service of the Bishkek City Hall.
Specialized equipment has been brought in to ensure road safety. The operation involves 32 MAZ sand spreaders, 10 Shacman trucks, a front loader, an excavator, 32 Belarus tractors, and 5 universal communal machines (UCM).
Twenty road workers and over 1,000 sanitation workers are involved in the operation.
Since the start of the work, 581 tons of technical salt have been used to prevent the formation of ice.
"Tazalyk" reported that the work on clearing the streets of snow and treating the roads with anti-icing materials continues.
