At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on March 11, Deputy Tabyldy Muratbekov expressed concerns that teachers may not receive the promised salary increase.

Teachers of various subjects, including biology and geography, are turning to him for help.

He noted that at the kurultai, the head of state promised a 100% increase in teachers' salaries, which brought joy to educators. However, the deputy reminded that earlier, under former Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov, there were also promises of an increase, but in reality, it turned out to be insignificant. Muratbekov believes that the current reduction in teachers' working hours by the Ministry of Education will result in their salaries remaining low. "Is this a joke?!" he exclaimed.

The deputy demanded that the ministry provide the relevant information.
