Today, March 11, Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, introduced Kanatbek Chynybaev as the new head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

As emphasized by Amangeldiev, the new minister has extensive experience in the field of emergency situations, which will enable him to effectively manage the agency. He also noted that the ministry faces important tasks aimed at reducing the risks of emergencies and enhancing preventive measures.

Kanatbek Chynybaev was appointed to the position of minister in accordance with the decree of President Sadyr Japarov, who relieved him from his previous position.



Chynybaev was born on November 4, 1983. In 2006, he graduated from the Issyk-Kul State Technical University named after Ishak Razakov, and then in 2018 from the Academy of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

From 2006 to 2022, he held various positions in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan.

Since July 2022, Chynybaev has been on a business trip at the Situational Center of the Presidential Administration and remained in the personnel reserve of the Armed Forces. In February 2026, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations.

For his achievements and exemplary performance of official duties, he has been awarded several departmental awards, including the medals "For Impeccable Service" II degree and "For Excellent Military Service" I and II degrees.
