Starting from March 4, a new mechanism has come into effect in Uzbekistan — a "black list" for individuals found guilty of violence and intimidation against women and children. This step is aimed at protecting the most vulnerable groups of the population, reports the resource Podrobno.uz.

According to the new decree, a centralized database will be created, which will include all individuals suspected of threats or physical and psychological violence. Law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor's office will be obligated to monitor such individuals and take measures to prevent further violations.

In addition, measures will be implemented to enhance social protection for women and children who have become victims of violence. They will be provided with medical assistance, psychological support, and legal guidance. Agencies must work closely together to respond promptly to cases of violence.

Thus, the introduction of the "black list" aims to reduce instances of domestic violence and protect women and children from new threats. Authorities emphasize that the main goal of this innovation is to strengthen safety guarantees and reduce the risks of repeat violence.
