The total spending amounted to 312 million rubles, which also exceeds last year's figures by 20 percent. This indicates that buyers are leaning towards more affordable options for talismans, experts note.
The highest sales growth is observed among keychain talismans, which have increased in price by 237 percent. In second place are products associated with zodiac signs, which have risen by 213 percent.
Research shows that the main buyers of such items are women (66 percent), primarily aged 35 to 45. They purchase not only talismans but also various jewelry, accessories, incense, as well as mugwort for smudging and aspen stakes.
It was previously reported that there is a 50 percent increase in demand for aspen stakes and protective charms in Russia, confirming the overall interest of the population in esoteric goods and protective amulets.
