The founder of the crisis center "Sezim" was recognized at the international level

As part of the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York, a ceremonial event was held in honor of Bubusara Ryskulova — the founder of the crisis center "Sezim" and one of the first activists of the women's rights movement in Kyrgyzstan.

Bubusara Ryskulova was awarded a commemorative plaque "For a Life Dedicated to Serving Society," which recognized her significant contribution to the protection of women's rights and dignity.

Ryskulova, who opened the first crisis center and shelter for women in Kyrgyzstan over thirty years ago, has become one of the leading figures in the fight against domestic violence and the protection of women's rights. Her efforts led to the establishment of a network of crisis centers, significantly increasing public awareness of issues related to violence and women's protection.

The ceremony was attended by Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, who emphasized that Ryskulova's contribution is crucial for the development of civil society and the advancement of women's rights in the country.

The ceremony gathered representatives of the leadership of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, heads of national delegations, diplomats, and members of the Kyrgyz delegation, as well as participants of the session.

The anniversary 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women taking place in New York brings together delegates from governments, international organizations, and civil society to discuss issues of gender equality and women's empowerment.
