
Ratbek Jumaanazarov, representing Kyrgyzstan, will participate in the Dakar African Open 2026 tournament, which will take place on March 29 in the capital of Senegal, Dakar.
According to information provided by the International Judo Federation (IJF), more than 150 athletes from 29 countries have already confirmed their participation. This tournament is included in the IJF calendar and allows athletes to earn ranking points on the world stage.
Jumaanazarov will compete in the weight category up to 81 kg and is a graduate of the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve (SDYUSHOR) for martial arts.
Previously, the judo athlete achieved significant success by becoming the winner of the 2025 Asian Open Judo Cup in Taipei. Now he aims to show a worthy result in Senegal.
