On March 15, a farewell ceremony took place in Bishkek dedicated to the outstanding cultural figure, people's writer, and Hero of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kenesh Jusupov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan.
On the last journey of the writer, he was accompanied by State Secretary Arslan Koichiev and Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev. In their speeches, they noted Jusupov's significant contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage, calling him the "voice of the era," who was able to convey the greatness of the work "Manas."
Kenesh Jusupov began his creative journey in 1958 and during his years of activity was awarded the highest state honors, including the Order of "Manas" II degree and the Toktogul Prize. His legacy, among which the extensive 40-volume work "Kyrgyz" stands out, will forever remain in the golden fund of the country's history.
