On March 15, 2026, the Tokmak Internal Affairs Department received information that a man with a stab wound had been found in one of the apartments in the 3rd microdistrict. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
A forensic investigation team was dispatched to the scene. During the inspection of the apartment, the body of a man born in 1980, M.B., was found sitting in a chair with a stab wound to the chest, showing no signs of life.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigative actions, it was established that the injuries were inflicted by his common-law wife — K.Z., born in 1974.
According to preliminary data, during a verbal altercation, she stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife, resulting in his death at the scene.
The body of M.B. has been sent to the Tokmak morgue, and the knife has been seized from the scene. Necessary forensic examinations have been appointed.
K.Z. has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
