The situation with epizootics in Kyrgyzstan continues to remain stable. This was reported in an interview on "Birinchi Radio" by Dayirkul Satkynov, a leading specialist in the Department for the Control of Anti-Epizootic Measures of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

Satkynov emphasized that veterinary services regularly receive up-to-date information from local veterinary departments.

“As of today, there are no registered cases of infectious animal diseases in the republic,” he added.

In addition, necessary veterinary drugs and vaccines have been delivered to various regions of the country. In 2026, 135 million soms have been allocated from the republican budget for these purposes, which allows for the purchase of vaccines, drugs, and antihelminthics.

Currently, vaccination against brucellosis is being carried out in Kyrgyzstan, covering lambs and heifers aged three to six months. The specialist noted that it is planned to vaccinate 350,000 animals.

It is also worth noting that earlier there were concerns among the residents of the country regarding rumors of an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease. The Minister of Agriculture, Erlis Akunbekov, has taken this issue under personal control.
