According to the agency, there have been no registered cases of foot-and-mouth disease in the country, and the epizootic situation remains stable and under control.
It is worth noting that at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Agricultural Policy, Water Resources, Subsoil Use, Ecology, and Environmental Protection, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev stated that the current epizootic situation in Kyrgyzstan remains stable despite cases of foot-and-mouth disease in other countries. He added that special headquarters have been established in all regions of the republic, and veterinary control has been strengthened, including monitoring at the state border.
