Kyrgyzstani Myktybek Oralbay entered the top 3 best fighters in UFC history

Myktybek Oralbay, representing Kyrgyzstan, has achieved a significant milestone by ranking third in the UFC for the most takedowns completed in a single fight.

This record was set at the UFC Fight Night 269 tournament held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. In his match against American Chris Curtis, the Kyrgyz fighter secured a decisive victory by unanimous decision, completing 19 successful takedowns during the bout.

This result is the third most significant in the organization's history. The lead is still held by Khabib Nurmagomedov, who, as a Hall of Fame member and former UFC lightweight champion, executed 21 takedowns at UFC 160 in a fight against Abel Trujillo.

In second place in this ranking is Merab Dvalishvili, the current UFC bantamweight champion, who made 20 takedowns in his fight against Cory Sandhagen at UFC Fight Night 221 (previously, incorrect information regarding UFC 320 was mentioned in the text).

After the fight, Oralbay expressed his desire to surpass the current record in his next appearance.

At the post-match press conference, he noted: "In my next fight, I intend to make even more takedowns," emphasizing his ambitions for leadership in his division.
