According to him, active measures are currently being taken to exit this list. The process of international auditing is divided into three stages, and the republic has successfully completed two of them.
“From March 22 to 28, a commission will come to us to conduct the third stage of the audit. It will check compliance with established norms. We hope that we can pass it completely, and by May the European Union, along with representatives of its audits, will make a decision. We expect to exit the blacklist in May,” noted Altynbek Mambetov.
Earlier, Danyar Bostono, the director of the State Agency for Civil Aviation, mentioned that three aspects remain critical for the European Union:
- Completion of the re-certification process for airlines with confirmation of their compliance with flight safety requirements, including demonstration flights and updating operational documentation.
- Effective and sustainable state oversight, which must be documented and verified in practice (audits, inspections, and monitoring of compliance with regulations).
- Staff stability and competence of the inspectorate, including their training, certification, and participation in oversight procedures.
