For two days, residents of apartment buildings located on Bokonbaeva and Chokmorova streets, from Manas Avenue to Molodaya Gvardiya, have been facing a drinking water outage. They have reached out to the editorial office regarding this issue.
According to local residents, "Bishkekvodokanal" did not notify them of any technical work that could have caused such outages. People suspect that the problem may be related to the construction of new high-rise buildings on Bokonbaeva Street, which likely affects the water supply networks.
They express concerns that in the future, the center of the capital may be left without water if the situation does not change.
It should be noted that experts had previously warned about potential water supply issues arising from active construction in the city. There is also information about development in close proximity to the water intake that supplies water to 40% of the capital's population.
