This production site was launched as part of a program to develop economic activities within the penal system and is aimed at organizing employment for inmates. The products manufactured will be used to provide meals for individuals in the institution.
The main objective of this project is to engage inmates in labor activities and develop their professional skills. The State Penitentiary Service notes that employment fosters discipline and responsibility among inmates.
Moreover, participation in the production process contributes to the social adaptation of inmates and helps them better prepare for life after release.
Efforts to create jobs and develop production sites in State Penitentiary Service institutions are carried out on a continuous basis.
