He suggested using offenders for cleaning
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Dastan Bekeshev expressed the opinion that mandatory participation of teachers in community clean-ups should be stopped.
He noted that such events are often formal. "Representatives of the Ministry of Education and local administrators gather the village councils, take photos, compile reports, and leave the site. Meanwhile, no one cares whether the planted trees have actually grown," he added.
The deputy emphasized that teachers are being forced to participate in community clean-ups and called for an end to this practice.
As an alternative, Bekeshev suggested involving offenders in cleaning activities.
