At a briefing today, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan, Liu Jiangping, emphasized that major powers do not have the right to arbitrarily carry out military attacks on other countries. Her comments were related to the current situation in the Middle East and the world as a whole.

According to Liu Jiangping, the world is experiencing a period of profound changes unseen for a whole century.

“Challenges and reforms are occurring in parallel, and we continue to observe the emergence of regional conflicts. Recently, the USA and Israel again attacked Iran. This war should not have happened and will not benefit either side,” she noted.

In the ambassador's opinion, major powers should not abuse their military superiority and create threats to other countries. “The world should not return to the rules of the ‘jungle,’” she added.

Liu Jiangping also stated that China, as a responsible state, will steadfastly defend its sovereignty, security, and development interests, as well as uphold the supremacy of international law, justice, and fairness.

“The People's Republic of China firmly opposes any unilateral actions, power politics, and hegemony. We will strictly adhere to international obligations and take a constructive position in international affairs,” she emphasized.

The ambassador expressed China's readiness to cooperate with all countries that share similar views to form a community with a shared future for mankind and to promote peace, development, cooperation, and mutual benefit.
