A modern rector must possess strategic thinking, management skills, be able to effectively manage finances and personnel, as well as understand legislation in the field of education.Today, universities not only educate students but also engage in production and investment projects, develop technology parks, startups, and the commercialization of scientific research. Simplifying the requirements for candidates for the rector's position will open doors for younger and more promising specialists," the justification note emphasizes.
