During the meeting, reports were presented on support measures for children with disabilities, as well as discussions on the prevention of disabilities and the implementation of inclusive education for children with special needs.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of screening methods for early diagnosis and the issues of their accessibility in various regions.
Participants were also presented with a concept plan of activities aimed at creating conditions for psychological, medical, and pedagogical support for people with special psychophysical needs for the period from 2026 to 2030.
“Ensuring the rights and improving the quality of life for children with special needs is one of the main issues, and the state is responsible for the future of every child,” noted Edil Baisalov.
As a result of the meeting, recommendations were developed and further steps were defined to improve state policy in this area.
