The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has amended a number of regulations concerning vocational secondary and higher education.

According to the new decree, a state enterprise called the "Center for the Admission of Foreign Students" will be established under the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations. The main goal of this center will be to ensure transparency and streamline the process of admitting foreign applicants.

In addition, new conditions for admission are being proposed. In particular, the part-time form of education is being abolished for those entering based on secondary education. However, distance and part-time education will remain available for certain programs, including master's degrees.

Requirements for foreign students have also changed: they must provide a mandatory health insurance policy as well as educational documents certified by authorized bodies.

Changes have also been made to the distribution of state educational grants. The new regulations exclude the term "budget places," and the focus is shifted to a grant funding system.

Regarding graduates of the presidential lyceum "Akyilman," mandatory employment in state institutions is established for them after completing their studies.

This document will come into effect 10 days after its official publication.
