Forty works inspired by the creativity of the famous Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov were presented at the exhibition.

During the opening of the exhibition, Yuristanbek Shygaev shared that he has been reading Aitmatov's works since his youth and even had the opportunity to communicate with him personally. He is so impressed by his creativity that he refers to the writer as "God." The artist noted that every time he rereads Aitmatov's works, he finds new ideas for his paintings.
“I constantly read and reread his works, and each time I discover something new. I recreate the images not directly, but through my understanding. We were acquainted, and his son became my student. Now he is a successful artist (referring to Eldar Aitmatov, the younger son of Chinghiz Torekulovich. — Ed. note). Chinghiz himself once told the French from UNESCO that if he hadn’t become a writer, he would have become an artist. Everything is connected,” the exhibition's author said.
Yuristanbek Shygaev arrived in Omsk as part of the "Academic Mobility" program organized by Omsk State Pedagogical University and Kyrgyz State University named after Ishenaly Arabayev for students and teachers.
