In Bishkek, an extended meeting of the presidium of the Central Committee of the trade union of workers of state and municipal institutions, as well as public services, took place. The event was attended by Aliza Soltonbekova, Deputy Chairperson of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, and representatives from various ministries, including the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration, the Ministry of Finance, the State Agency for Public Service and Local Self-Government, as well as the Judicial Department of the Supreme Court.

During the meeting, an analysis of the implementation of sectoral agreements concluded between the trade union and government bodies was conducted. Participants noted that the measures taken contributed to the stable operation of teams and the development of social partnership, as well as ensuring the protection of labor, socio-economic, and professional rights of workers.

Throughout the reporting period, the improvement of the training system for personnel, increased efficiency in the use of labor resources, timely payment of wages, and the resolution of issues related to labor protection and health of workers continued. It was emphasized that from 2022 to 2025, positive changes in the conditions of wage payment for civil servants have been observed, with no wage arrears arising.

Significant attention is paid to improving working conditions, preventing workplace injuries, and conducting annual medical examinations of workers at the expense of employers. Trade union organizations also assist socially vulnerable categories of citizens by providing vouchers to sanatoriums and organizing cultural and sports events.

During the meeting, the results of the implementation of collective agreements for 2025 were reviewed, and tasks for 2026 were outlined. It was noted that the documents included an increased share of activities aimed at protecting the socio-economic rights of workers, as well as additional benefits not enshrined in legislation.

As a result of the discussion, the employer was recommended to strengthen control over compliance with labor legislation and obligations under collective agreements, regularly conduct safety briefings and medical examinations, and strictly adhere to the norms of the Labor Code, including compensations for work on weekends and holidays.

The trade union emphasized that the work on protecting workers' rights and developing social partnership will continue.
