In Bishkek, 14-year-old David Puzikov, a seventh-grade student, presented his project — Kyrgyz-C, an adapted version of the C programming language in the Kyrgyz language.

According to the young programmer, this initiative is aimed at making the process of learning programming easier for schoolchildren who do not have a sufficient level of English. Kyrgyz-C includes a translation of the C language keywords while preserving its original logic.

David explains: "Many children in our country do not know English at a professional level, and this complicates their learning of programming. I strive for every schoolchild to be able to study logic in their native language."

The implementation of the idea occurs through the use of a preprocessor that replaces English keywords with Kyrgyz equivalents. For example, "эгерде" is used instead of if, "бүтүн" instead of int, and "кайтала" instead of while.

However, experienced programmers emphasize that knowledge of the English language is still critically important, as a large portion of documentation and educational materials is available only in that language. Additionally, knowledge of English significantly enhances competitiveness in the job market.
