Kyrgyzstan has started printing its national currency independently for the first time

President Japarov called this a historic event and noted the international recognition of the quality of the products.

Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, stated that for the first time in its independence, the country has begun to produce the Kyrgyz som without the involvement of foreign companies.

Previously, Kyrgyzstan was forced to spend significant funds on printing its banknotes abroad, but that phase is now in the past.

"Today is a landmark day for Kyrgyzstan! We have gained the opportunity to independently order the printing of our currency," emphasizes Japarov.

The head of state also noted that the new production has received an international certificate confirming its compliance with global standards, and is now producing a number of important documents: passports, ID cards, driver's licenses, and technical passports for vehicles.

In addition, Kyrgyzstan is ready to offer its services for printing currency and government documents to other countries, and there are already initial orders from abroad.

The use of high protection technologies makes it impossible to counterfeit the products, while the costs of production remain affordable.
