According to local residents, a complaint was sent to the prosecutor's office, which, in turn, forwarded the case to "Bishkekglavarchitectura." After a commission was formed, the violations were deemed minor, and construction continued.
Residents note: "The building is being constructed in such a way that a fire truck will not be able to access it without going through our territory. The new building is located only 1.5 meters from the playground, and recently pieces of concrete and rebar fell from its roof. If these materials had hit someone, the consequences could have been terrible. Why are government agencies not responding to our complaints? We are now afraid to let our children go to the playground," they said.
A representative of the construction company "Elegance" stated that all work is being carried out in compliance with the necessary safety measures. Regarding the incident with the falling rebar, he reported that this issue has been resolved.
"The company compensated the owner of the car that was damaged. Workers were given instructions to prevent similar situations in the future. We also suggested to the company ERL Group, responsible for the playground, to install a fence and canopy during construction work, but they refused. We will discuss this issue again today," added the representative of "Elegance."
