In the international tournament held in the Maldives, the women's volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan demonstrated excellent results. This was reported by the volleyball federation on its social media.
In the decisive match, our team defeated the Maldives team with a score of 3:1, earning them the title of champions.
On the way to the final, the volleyball players from Kyrgyzstan first confidently overcame opponents from Bangladesh and Afghanistan, but then suffered a defeat against the host team. However, in the semifinals, our athletes once again showed their strength by defeating the team from Afghanistan.
The tournament, known as the CAVA Cup (Central Asian Volleyball Association), took place from December 19 to 25 in the capital, Male, and gathered teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, and the Maldives.
