These awards, presented by FIFA, celebrate outstanding football players, both men and women, as well as the best coaches and teams. The winners are determined through voting, which includes fans, media representatives, and the captains and coaches of national teams.
Infantino emphasized: "We are pleased to announce a new partnership that will allow us to honor the best players, coaches, and teams here in Dubai. Football is what unites people around the world, and we will enjoy this unity."
At the ceremony held in 2025 in Doha, the title of the best football player in the world was awarded to Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé, while the award for the best female football player went to Spanish midfielder Aitana Bonmatí.
