The KFU Football Awards 2025 ceremony took place in Bishkek, where the results of the football year in the country were summarized. The Kyrgyz Football Union awarded individual prizes to the best players, coaches, and organizations. The event was attended by the president of the KFU, Kamchybek Tashiev.
In his speech, Tashiev reminded about the state program aimed at developing football in Kyrgyzstan. He noted that in 2024, President Sadyr Japarov signed a historic decree supporting the football sector, which became the foundation for the active growth of infrastructure across the country. Over the past two years, new stadiums, football fields, and training bases have been built in Kyrgyzstan, where many children are engaged in football.
Additionally, in 2025, a new decree was adopted that exempted football structures from taxes and utility payments, and players from social contributions. The head of the KFU expressed hope that such support would help Kyrgyz footballers achieve better results on the international stage.
